Athletes’ and Paralympians’ Village

Work on the low-carbon timber-concrete composite structures in Sector E of the Athletes’ and Parathletes’ Village is nearing completion.

The erection of the gymnasium’s roof structure, which overlooks Building E3, is currently underway. This 8.5-metre-high structure, featuring three-dimensional truss beams with a span of 17 metres, will be able to host sporting events whilst offering breathtaking views of the Athletes’ and Parathletes’ Village and other iconic buildings in the sector.
