Fire Safety Engineering

Fire safety and ventilation are essential functions in underground structures and complex buildings. They determine the civil engineering design, the sizing of equipment and the operating conditions of infrastructure and buildings.

setec tpi has developed a specialist engineering division dedicated to fire safety, smoke extraction and ventilation. The teams support projects from the early stages right through to operation, providing reliable, high-performance solutions that are fully integrated into the structure.

setec tpi works on complex projects, particularly for non-standard structures, whether in the design of new infrastructure, the refurbishment of existing infrastructure or adaptation to new regulations.

Fire safety engineering (ISI) enables us to propose alternative solutions to regulatory requirements, where these prove unsuitable, based on realistic three-dimensional fire scenarios that take into account smoke dispersion, evacuation of occupants and the fire resistance of structures.

setec tpi is a Recognised Competent Body (ORC) by the Ministry of the Interior for smoke extraction engineering studies.
