River and Hydraulics

River and water infrastructure shapes the landscape, safeguards water resources and contributes to the sustainable management of aquatic environments. Its design requires an integrated approach that takes into account hydraulic, environmental and structural constraints.

setec tpi supports project owners in the design and development of river and hydraulic structures: canals, locks, dams, pumping stations, reservoirs and control structures. setec tpi’s engineers, working in synergy with our subsidiary setec ism, are involved not only in the civil engineering aspects of these structures but also in all associated electromechanical equipment: pumps, lock gates and sluice gates, etc.

The teams also work on projects to develop waterways or modernise existing infrastructure.

The engineering solutions developed aim to ensure the safety, durability and performance of the structures, whilst taking into account the challenges of water management, ecological continuity and adaptation to climate change.
