A story of engineering and passion

For over 60 years, setec tpi has been designing, calculating and overseeing the construction of major infrastructure projects that leave their mark on the landscape: the Channel Tunnel, the Maurienne Motorway, the Millau Viaduct, the Mohamed VI Bridge in Rabat, the Grand Paris Express, and the French high-speed rail lines, notably the Eastern Europe, Rhine-Rhône and Brittany-Pays-de-la-Loire lines.

These landmark projects demonstrate our ability to tackle the most ambitious technical challenges, both in France and internationally.

Founded in 1967 as part of the Setec Group, Setec TPI (Public and Industrial Works) is part of a tradition of rigorous and independent French engineering.
Born out of the passion of Henri Grimond and Guy Saias, who founded the group in 1957, the company has grown whilst maintaining a consistent focus on innovation, scientific rigour and collective responsibility.

As a subsidiary of the setec Group specialising in civil engineering, setec tpi is involved in all high-stakes projects: landmark buildings, urban development, transport and mobility, underground infrastructure, bridges and footbridges, and hydraulic, maritime and port structures.

The calibre of our staff, the rigour of our approach and our ability to tackle complex issues make us a partner whose expertise is widely recognised, as evidenced by the awards and accolades we have received.

Our values

Excellence

We want the best for our staff, for the environment and for our customers.

People First

We place women and men at the heart of our concerns and our actions.

Free to be bold

We encourage innovation, new ideas and the courage to take action.

Committed, honest and responsible

We design and support our clients in the delivery of their projects.

Our ambition

Our aim is to take a comprehensive and coherent approach to all the issues raised by a project, whether architectural, urban, environmental, technical, contractual or economic. Each project is approached in all its complexity, with particular attention paid to the quality of use, environmental performance and the management of costs and deadlines.

We aim, in all circumstances, to provide bespoke, optimal and sustainable solutions, balancing the big picture with technical rigour and operational pragmatism. This integrated approach enables us to support our clients at every stage of the project, from design through to completion.

To ensure this level of excellence, we draw on the complementary and wide-ranging expertise of the setec group, which is mobilised across disciplines to deliver innovative, reliable solutions tailored to the specific requirements of each project.
